Located along a prime strip of beach downhill from historic Taormina, Lida La Caravella doubles as a beach club by day and posh supper club and summer disco by night. Open-air architecture yields a series of extravagant terraces arranged in all-white Phillip Stark inspired décor with main dining room that fills mostly in the months of July and August. Outside, an extravagant lounge bar includes a spacious DJ floor with open-sky and exuberant selection of Italian singles on hand for late afternoon parties and late-night events on select weekends.
Tips
Not the best swimming beach, we suggest beach club closer to town for any water activities but Meredian for the late-afternoon party scene.
